your light will shine when all else fades.

I took a walk today while my car was being fixed. It was unusually warm out and made me wish it was summer. I remember before I had my first summer job I would have my mom drop me off in the middle of town at 9am and pick me up at 9pm. I would walk up and down the main road all day, going into random stores I had never been in, or have lunch and see a movie. Just enjoying spending time by myself for an extended period of time is something I haven't done in probobly 5 years. It was nice to remember what it felt like to have that simple fascination in slowing down for a second and enjoying a simple thing like walking in no specific direction to no specific destination.... then I preceeded to walk back to where my car was being worked on and grossly overpaid the nice man there and went grocery shopping... So, those 45 minutes were a really nice break in my day and I hope I can do it more often.
